Bringing innovative ideas to the Audit Department. Imagine that your AI / Machine Learning model truly drives the effectivity and impact of the bank. Whether it is regarding creating a better sustainable world together, testing the effectiveness of IT security and cloud computing or identifying emerging risks. Our Audit Data Scientists have to stand out from the rest. Much more than just code-writers, we need Audit Data Scientists who constantly question the status quo and continue to look for better solutions.
Practical Examples
- Performing process mining on a credit approval flow to give insights in the bottlenecks within the process
- Giving support/ training to the auditors to use the analytical platform so they make more and better decision based on data.
- Perform anomaly detection on a large dataset to identify clients that have higher risk profile.

Top 3 responsibilities
- Ideating and designing (AI) solutions that support audit needs;
- Mentoring / coaching Auditors to apply methods and models you have created in order to scale-up proven models;
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders and gather requirements that help innovating the Audit Department.

The 6 people in Audit Data & Analytics team have been able to incorporate sophisticated data analytics into the Risk Assessment and Audit Planning, as well as to support individual Audit assignments. You and your talent
- Analytical mindset, for instance with a Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, or quantitative field (mathematics, physics or similar);
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
- Experience with analytical tools/languages like SQL, Azure Databricks, Python, R;
- The ability to present solutions and provide clear documentation of all steps, so that data sets are not only useable, but sustainable.
