You are responsible for complex and large-scale change projects among our clients in the financial sector in the strategic framework of these organizations.

There is a lot going on in the financial sector. Here we can add a lot of value as a People & Organization advisor. Ten years after the credit crisis, confidence in banks, insurers and other financial institutions has not been back yet. Besides this the playing field is also changing by Fintechs, Regtechs and large IT institutions that enter the market. Digitization, robotisation, compliance, regulation and the social role are playing a key role with many of our customers.

In this field, we as PwC work together with our clients to solve problems from the past and prepare them for the future. To also be relevant for the social playing field, the clients of the financial institutions and the employees. As a senior manager, you will focus primarily on advising and supervising complex and large-scale change programs and projects in the financial sector, specially at banks. These large programs often have a regulatory and compliance component. You will also deal with the human aspects of the major (cultural) changes that financial institutions are going through, for example in the field of digitization, future of work and agile transformation. Besides the work at banks, the transformation that we as PwC go through to purpose-led and value-driven is also part of your work area. This is precisely how we can help our customers with our own experiences and insights.

You are responsible for carrying out these assignments, managing the customer relationship on assignments, guiding and developing the people in the project team (s) and within your own practice. This practice is under construction and therefore offers many opportunities and also responsibility to help the young team in its development. You will also play a role in the (commercial) development and expansion of this practice and you work together with colleagues from other competencies and our international colleagues, mainly within Europe.

We do many different types of assignments together with our customers to increase confidence in the entire financial sector. Our ambition is to play a leading role in shaping the eco-system.

In our trajects at banks, our roles are very diverse: from change management, leadership development and coaching to designing and facilitating creative interventions for small and (very) large groups. Translating vision into a practical and people-oriented approach is always the challenge here. We do this by being genuinely interested, listening and continuing to ask. Critical, independent and focused on a sustainable result.

You are responsible for complex and large-scale change projects among our clients in the financial sector in the strategic framework of these organizations. You have an integrated view of banks and the impact of changes on all facets of a bank (including operational management and organizational structure, way of working and management of people, support and leadership). You act as a sparring partner for top managers and know how to motivate, stimulate and coach them in a constructive way to fulfill their own role in the transformation. Your thorough knowledge of developments in the financial sector will enable you to realize new contacts and concrete services to our customers. You develop marketing and sales events to meet social developments and customer demands in related areas.

You work in a team for each assignment that, next to fellow advisors, often consists of key employees of our clients. You guide these teams and are responsible for the smooth running of the change process. You coach junior and medior advisors in their development. This way you create clear added value with every assignment.


  • You are an experienced change consultant and project manager and you are ready for a new, challenging step in your career. It is precisely the further commercial development of this type of work with our customers that gives you energy. You also want to develop yourself, share your knowledge, expand your network and get the best out of yourself and your colleagues.
  • You have completed a Master in a related study, such as business administration, organizational psychology, business economics.
  • You have about 7-10 years of relevant working experience, preferably from a reputable consultancy firm.
  • You have proven commercial and advisory skills and are able to further develop the services of our advisory group in the financial sector based on knowledge, experience and relationship network in the financial sector.
  • You have experience in successfully converting leads to projects.
  • You have experience with designing, guiding and managing large-scale change programs.
  • You have demonstrable experience in providing training and are a credible trainer.
  • You have an enterprising and result-oriented attitude.
  • You are a bubbly and strong  personality and have excellent communication skills, both in English and in Dutch, in word and writing.
