About the job
As a (Senior) Manager HR Function Transformation at PwC, you are constantly challenged in a changing and digital world to work with clients on their initiatives to make their people and HR function ready for the future. In this role, you advise on large scale and complex HR projects. You take the lead in making clients’ HR organization ready for the future, both advising on and implementing market leading digital HR enablers.

You work with clients on topics such as employee experience designing and implementing HR Target Operating Models, supported by enabling technologies (e.g. AI, VR, RPA) and impactful people insights process design and agility. 

Translating a strategic vision on these topics into a practical and people focused approach is always the challenge. Together with a larger team of different specialists you do this by being critical, independent and focused on a sustainable result. You act as a sparring partner for your clients and your colleagues and know how to make meaningful connections at different levels, with executives, (top) management and professionals.

You contribute to and help lead the development of the HR digital practice, including business development on tools and methods, identification of new opportunities and managing the proposal process. An important part of your work is seeking out new methodologies and tools to provide innovative service, and having a vision on how the HR digital world will develop in the future. With a mature Workday and SuccessFactors practice within PwC, you naturally work to see where the linkages are together with these teams. 

Requirements
You have extensive management consulting  experience with the HR function and transformations within the field. You are action minded and don’t shy away from a work environment with a steep learning curve that allows for constant personal development. You adjust effortlessly to any situation and look for opportunities to collaborate where possible. In addition, you consider it a challenge to go that little bit further for the client.

Experience

  • Relevant academic degree (e.g. organizational sciences, sociology, organizational psychology, business administration), or equivalent 
  • Background in and broad, in depth experience (8-10 years) with HR management consulting
  • Extensive project management experience 
  • A proven track record working on a variety of HR topics, such as HR process design, employee experience design, people transformation, strategic workforce planning, HR TOM, reorganizations, RPA, people analytics etc.
  • Affinity with and interest in digitalization and emerging technologies such as Big Data, IoT, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain, including how developments in these areas influence organizations and the people and cultures within them
  • Digitally savvy, you seek out and embrace innovative and evolving technologies. You can easily apply new tools and trends to client’s issues
  • A strong and compelling point of view around Digital HR transformation
  • Familiar with building and maintaining a relevant client network
  • Proven successful track record in procuring consulting work 

Personality

  • Innovative, bold and not scared of challenging the status quo, both amongst colleagues and at the client
  • Can do mentality, self-starter who is able to inspire and lead project teams
  • Excellent social and communication skills, works well independently as well as within a team full of different competencies
  • Able to translate a theory or vision about the future into action and to achieve the desired result
  • Familiar with building and maintaining a relevant client network and a proven successful track record in procuring consulting work.
  • Due to background and experience, quickly able to understand an organization and it’s stakeholder field
  • Flexible in terms of working hours and (international) travel
