About the job

As a Manager within PwC’s HR Digital team, you would work with software and platform vendors and our internal market facing teams and clients to help make the people and HR functions of our clients ready for the future. In this role, you would establish strong relationships with market leading HR digital and data software and platform vendors to identify and help lead the development of PwC services offerings to clients. You would work with other members of the HR digital team, as well as our teams in areas such as Modern HR, Strategic Workforce Planning, HR Cloud, Risk and Remuneration, Global Mobility and Employment Tax to shape and develop the propositions and to take them to market. Typical clients for the sorts of services on which you would be focused are those of a significant scale, (over 3.000 employees and mostly over 10.000), with complex strategic and transformational needs in order to make their organizations and their HR functions fit for the future.          

As a Manager level within PwC, you act as a sparring partner for your clients and your colleagues and know how to make meaningful connections at different levels, with executives, (top) management and professionals; through this, you build sustainable relationships. You contribute to and help lead the furthering of the HR digital practice, including business development on tools and methods, identification of new opportunities and managing the proposal process. An important part of your work is seeking out new methodologies and tools to provide innovative services, and having a vision on how the HR digital world will develop in the future. 


You have extensive experience within the digital HR environment and the latest developments in the field. You are action minded and don’t shy away from a work environment with a steep learning curve that allows for constant personal development. You adjust naturally to changing situations and look for opportunities to collaborate where possible. In addition, you consider it a challenge to go that little bit further for the client.


  • Relevant academic degree (e.g. HR, IT related studies, innovation studies organizational sciences, organizational psychology, business administration), or equivalent 
  • Broad, in depth experience within the HR and HR digital fields
  • A proven track record working on a variety of digital HR topics and working across a range of technologies (e.g. Robotics and AI, or digital HR applications)
  • Affinity with and interest in digitalization and emerging technologies such as Big Data, IoT, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain, including how developments in these areas influence organizations and the people and cultures within them
  • Demonstrated capability to work successfully in the management of vendor alliance relationships
  • Knowledge of products or platforms such as Faethm, HR Forecast, Blue Prism, Microsoft Viva, Seedlink and TrueChoice
  • Digitally savvy, you seek out and embrace innovative and evolving technologies. You enjoy applying new tools and trends to client’s issues
  • A strong and compelling point of view around Digital HR transformation


  • Innovative, bold and not scared of challenging the status quo, both amongst colleagues and at the client
  • Excellent social and communication skills, works well independently as well as within a team full of different competencies
  • Able to translate a theory or vision about the future into action and to achieve the desired result
  • Familiar with building and maintaining a relevant vendor and client network and a proven successful track record in selling and delivering consulting work
  • Flexible in terms of working hours and (international) travel
