Manager Corporate Reward & Head of Executive Compensation - NN

You play a pivotal role in driving and guiding the annual compensation review for NN Group, and you will closely work with senior management when preparing remuneration proposals for staff in our corporate headquarters.

We offer you a very interesting role with a lot of impact on and value to our business: you combine your compensation expertise with strong stakeholder management, while leading major international reward projects. On top of that you manage our team of Reward experts.

This job offers you an annual salary between €110,000 and €155,000, depending on your knowledge and experience. This is based on a 40-hour workweek, excluding a 13th month and holiday pay.

Your impact as Manager Corporate Reward & Head of Executive Compensation at NN

You’re dealing with evolving international and Dutch regulatory requirements. You make sure that all our group-wide renumeration policies, practices, and procedures are in sync with these requirements, on a continuous basis. You closely follow all external developments, gather internal input, and share your knowledge with your colleagues. On a daily basis, you work intensively with HR colleagues, senior management, and with experts from our legal, compliance, risk, sustainability, finance, and business strategy departments.

Working in our fast-paced and international environment gives you the opportunity to act as sparring partner for senior leaders on all elements related to reward for our corporate headquarters.

Your responsibilities 

  • You play a pivotal role in driving and guiding the annual compensation review for NN Group, and you will closely work with senior management when preparing remuneration proposals for staff in our corporate headquarters
  • Together with your team of experts, you will be responsible for driving the annual remuneration (regulatory) processes, (including the selection of Identified Staff, and conducting remuneration risk analyses), equal pay studies, guiding internal and external benchmarking processes, drafting external publications (such as the annual NN Group remuneration report), and the development & monitoring of the correct execution of the rewards governance model
  • Periodically, you will be involved in updating the Compensation & Benefits policies for our Supervisory Board, Executive Board, Management Board, and other senior leaders. You will be participating in relevant Executive Compensation related processes and requests
  • You will lead major global reward projects and you will be involved in remuneration related aspects in the event of mergers, acquisitions and divestments.
  • You will guide and develop the team of Reward Specialists, creating an inspiring, collaborative and results driven working environment

Who you are

  • At least 10 years of experience in a relevant compensation function/department, with advanced knowledge of Dutch, European, and global compensation & benefits practices
  • Extensive experience in working in an international financial services environment, including solid knowledge and experience of renumeration regulations as applicable to the financial industry (such as SolvencyII, Wbfo/Wnbf, CRD V, SRD II, SFDR, Corporate Governance Code)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, on paper as well as in conversation. In English and in Dutch

The office is located next to the A12 and is also easily accessible by public transport. Want to get some fresh air? You can take the tram or bike and you will be at the beach in half an hour.
