This is what you will do

The Compensation Lead at PwC is responsible for all compensation policies, communications, processes and technologies. You will be taking the lead in budget processes, forecasting, benchmarking and optimising compensation processes for all relevant internal and external stakeholders, like our works council, audit entities, HR Advice, Workday Support and the Line of Service Boards. Also, you will drive continuous improvements for everybody at PwC who plays a role in our Compensation landscape.  

As the Compensation Lead you will work closely with the Benefits Lead to ensure PwC compensation and benefits programs are competitive and in line with business and HR strategies.  

This is a hands-on role that requires proactiveness, attention to detail, analytics, administration capabilities and an in-depth knowledge of all compensation related topics.  

Here are some more examples of what will part of your daily life at PwC as Compensation Lead:

  • Drive the Compensation agenda with your vision based on your experience in  the Compensation area;

  • Develop and maintain a fair and competitive total compensation package that is in line with PwC’s strategy, values and business goals;

  • Lead compensation processes and activities in case of acquisitions and mergers; 

  • Be a trusted advisor for the HC Leadership and Board;

  • Coordinate and manage the compensation cycles and processes including relevant technologies like Workday;

  • Drive optimisation of technologies together with local and Global teams;

  • Provide analysis including KPIs as input for discussions with stakeholders about the organisation's compensation models and outcomes;

  • Manage communications related to compensation; 

  • Prepare and report on internal and external benchmarking activities and relevant analysis; 

  • Ensure equal pay outcomes;

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team and the Benefits Lead to ensure attractive proposals can be offered to the candidates; 

  • Drive awareness of Compensation programs to offer transparency to our staff. 

Who are you?

You are able to communicate with ease in both Dutch and English and are able to adjust your communication style to the wide variety of internal & external stakeholders you work with. 

You are well versed in (People & Analytics) technology and you have experience with Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, Workday or comparable tools. You easily adopt new technology and are able to translate  business needs to functioning solutions. You have a pragmatic, structured approach to your work and have experience with leading & managing projects. 

You have at least 4 years of experience working in a complex compensation landscape in a large organisation.
