Key to our success is our people and our HR team in the Netherlands plays a key role in driving changes to develop people capability. The team in NL is part of the EU AAM HR team and consists of consists of 6 HR business partners and two HR Associates. Half of the team sits in The Netherlands.

We are currently recruiting for a full time HR Business Partner to join our team, based in The Hague. The HR Business Partner reports into the Europe HR Lead. The AAM Europe HR team is working in close cooperation with all HR colleagues globally. Each HR Business Partner supports part of the business and is leading in a specific area of HR expertise.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious HR professional to increase the level and quality of HR support delivery. You will be part of a fast-pace environment with continuously changing priorities and legislation.

Key responsibilities
The HR Business Partner applies people management expertise to business decisions. He or she identifies, designs and delivers HR interventions to achieve business needs.

  • Gain a full understanding of the strategy and business objectives of the EUR Asset Management team;
  • Develop effective working relations with senior management;
  • Display leadership in HR initiatives and projects;
  • Act as the main HR Business Partner for business managers and providing proactive advice on all aspects of HR;
  • Provide practical HR solutions to business areas on the following HR areas:
    • Compensation and benefits, including the annual reward cycle, policies and benchmark surveys
    • talent management, development  and succession planning
    • recruitment and selection
    • performance management
    • employee relations                             
  • The incumbent will have a specific focus on Rewards and HR Risk in the Netherlands;
  • Lead on organizational design and change management, coaching business leaders on its effective implementation;
  • Drive a culture of business ownership and accountability for people management practices;

    Qualifications and experience

  • University Degree business administration, economics or related;
  • Additional education in Human Resources;
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources required, preferably within an International environment;
  • Full-time availability;
  • Fluency in English is a must;
  • Experience in the professional service industry, preferably in financial service or asset management;
  • Proven consultancy HR experience and well developed HR practitioner skills;
  • Proven experience and interests in Rewards and Risk;
  • Strong record of delivering HR operational initiatives and managing projects;
  • Solutions focused and flexible, able to cope well with change and uncertainty ;
  • Strong systems orientation preferred, experience with HR Analytics is a pre.
