The Head Office HR department works closely with other entities within the company to make sure that all the achievements and commitments are delivered successfully. As an HR advisor you provide your expertise and advices pro-actively to our managers in the areas of e.g.: performance management, talent management, retention, organizational design and development, leadership, learning and personal development, reward, retention, and co-worker vitality. In accordance with the recruiter you support our managers by filling in all the vacancies at the Head Office. The Head Office HR Team has an advisory role towards the Directors, Heads of Departments and the department managers. As a part of the HR team, your mission is to help these stakeholders with achieving their business goals within their teams.

Because an HR Advisor left the organisation after 10 years the Human Resources team of Triodos Bank’s Head Office is looking for an:

HR Advisor (24 hours)

Take action

  • Support the organisation in building leadership (style)
  • Provide expert knowledge to management on HR issues, engagement and change projects;
  • Coach, support and challenge managers in the detailed aspects of their organisational redesign and business change agenda
  • Advise management and give substantive and procedural support regarding in-, through- and outflow of co-workers.
  • Drive effective & continuous improvement in all HR activities

The team

The Head Office HR team currently consists of an HR Manager, one HR Advisor, a Recruiter and an HR Officer who supports both the HR team as well as the Expertise and Services Team. Being open, respectful and able to work hard are the traits that we are looking for in our HR team. We also appreciate informal communication, professional knowledge and of course humor!

As HR Advisor you will have a focused number of departments and focus areas where you are responsible for. The HR Advisors and the Recruiter work closely together to ensure the best service and support for management and co-workers and act as back up for each other.

This is you

You are an HR generalist. You show strong affinity with the mission and goals of Triodos Bank and you can actively function as an ambassador of our corporate values. You can communicate these values effectively and translate them into your daily activities. You are also able to link the broad range of topics in the HR discipline on an operational, tactical level and strategical level. You have experience in working in a complex and rapidly changing environment. You recognize yourself in words like open, self-reflective, hands-on, high energy, inspiring and culturally sensitive.

This is complemented by:

  • A right combination of a ‘can do’ attitude and a tactical/strategic vision.
  • Relevant BSc or MSc degree level, e.g. business administration or strategic HRM.
  • Several years (5+) working experience in the field of HR, preferably in an international setting.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch.
  • Proven ability to gain credibility and trust at all levels based upon expertise and building relations. Ability to influence.
  • Experience of successfully implementing HR initiatives.
  • Previous experience working in a matrix environment is a pre.
