Are you an ambitious, talented and professional student who is passionate about HR Operations, (agile) organizational change management, organizational culture, organizational design and/or other people related business challenges? And are you looking to write your Master thesis in this area? If so, then we are looking for you!
 
Your challenge
This role is part of our efforts to enhance our People Advisory Services (PAS) practice in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. As a Graduation Intern within PAS, you will independently write your Master graduation thesis from the EY Amsterdam office. Your thesis topic will be determined in agreement with us. You will get a mentor assigned that will help you at the start of your internship with formulating your research question, and (s)he will provide you with academic as well as practical support during the process of writing your thesis. Also, (s)he will introduce you to the PAS colleagues, and give you the opportunity to see what kind of projects we work on. Finally, you will write an EY article with support of your mentor regarding your thesis topic. This means a graduation internship within EY PAS offers you the perfect opportunity to gain valuable and relevant experience during your graduation.
 
Your responsibilities

  • Performing independent research for the PAS Performance practice
  • Supporting consultants on several activities in case this is desired
  • Influencing and persuading stakeholders to gain support for any initiatives and/or decisions around your thesis
  • Encouraging and facilitating collaboration amongst colleagues, and promote an inclusive working environment
  • You are available for preferably 4 days per week (this is open for discussion)
  • You are interested and considering to write your thesis and EY article in the area of the following topics: .
    • The Future of Change Management
    • Cultural and Behavioral Change
    • Organizational Design
    • Agile Change Management and Agile HR
    • The role of HR in Lean Management

This is you

  • You are in the end phase of your Master degree in the area of Business Administration, Change Management or Human Resource Management
  • You are interested in the People agenda of large multinationals
  • You have an excellent command of English, both spoken and written (and preferably also of Dutch)
  • You are critical, flexible, and proactive, and have analytical skills
  • You are proactive, resilient and able to create your own internal network within EY to find the people you need for your research
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic and international work environment
  • You are approachable, social, and are able to build a professional network, both internally and externally
  • You have a good ability to work both independently and in teams
